Chicory offers a Limited Warranty on the furniture in our Teak Collection against manufacturing defects applicable to the original buyer at the original delivery address effective 3 years from the date of delivery. Chicory’s Limited Warranty does not apply to any conditions resulting from faulty installation, misuse or expected wear. A manufacturing defect is defined, for the purpose of this Limited Warranty, as causing the product to be structurally unsound, faulty, or significantly altering the appearance of the product. Chicory’s Limited Warranty does include the Chicory x Anabei Washable Collection.

We will repair or replace, at our discretion, any part of the product or the entire product if it is deemed defective. In the event that you find yourself experiencing an issue with our guarantee, please reach out to us so we can make it right. We’ll require photographs to properly evaluate the condition of the product. Please note that Quick-Use Outdoor Cushion Covers, All-Season Outdoor Protective Covers, and Outdoor Accent Pillows are not covered by this Limited Warranty.



Teak Wood: Teak’s natural properties make it well-equipped to face the elements, making it the best choice of wood for durable outdoor furniture. That said, for the ultimate care and long term protection, it’s always recommended to bring in furniture during harsh winters, storms, etc. and to cover it when not in-use. Avoid direct contact with organic materials for extended periods of time to avoid making the product more susceptible to mold and bacteria. We recommend regular cleaning of the teak wood (at least once every few months) to remove any build up of organic matter. The Chicory Limited Warranty excludes any damage to teak that we deem caused by improper use, care and maintenance of the product.

All teak finishes will shift to appear more gray in color over time but the integrity of the frame doesn’t diminish in parallel. This natural evolution of color and texture of finishes is not considered a quality defect and is not covered by this Limited Warranty.

Teak will naturally form cracks as part of its natural weathering process. Only weathering cracks deemed by our team to affect the structural integrity of the product for regular use will be covered by this Limited Warranty. Minor cosmetic cracks are not covered.

Teak has naturally occurring oils that may emerge over time until the furniture has fully weathered. This is an inherent property of all teak wood. To prevent fabric stains caused by oil transfer, we recommend wiping down your product with a damp cloth from time to time and allowing it to dry before placing the cushions back on. Oil transfers to cushions and are not covered by this Limited Warranty.

Frame: When modifying the configuration of your product please take care to follow Chicory’s instruction manuals. Any frame modifications made by the customer, use of chemical treatments or cleaning techniques that improperly damage the frame invalidates the Chicory Limited Warranty.

Cushion & Back Pillow Covers: Our performance fabrics have been tested for a UV lightfast rating of up to 2000 hours which is considered fade-proof in the industry. For ultimate longterm color protection, we recommend using weatherproof covers, prompt spot cleaning when needed, and avoiding contact with high moisture and extreme sun environments when possible. Cushion covers are warranted against becoming unusable due to strength loss. The Chicory Limited Warranty excludes any damage to cushion and back pillow covers that we deem caused by improper use, care and maintenance of the product. This Limited Warranty does not cover pilling, shrinkage, or tears.

Some of our fabrics are machine washable. If a fabric is machine washable, it’ll be noted in the cleaning instructions. It must be Machine Wash - Cold. Use Cold Water and a mild detergent on a low/gentle cycle. Hang dry all covers. Please note that every machine wash adds wear to the fabric so it’s recommended to opt for spot cleaning prior to machine washing whenever possible. To prevent overall soiling, frequent vacuuming to remove dust and grime is recommended. The Chicory Limited Warranty excludes any damage to cushion and pillow covers that we deem caused by improper use, care and maintenance of the product. The Chicory Limited Warranty does not cover pilling or shrinkage due to excessive or improper machine washing.

Cushions & Back Pillows: Our seat cushion composition features high resiliency foam designed for long term durability and use. It is normal for all foam products including pillows and cushions to soften over time with regular use, but this should not be mistaken for an actual loss of foam resiliency. As a result of regular use, cushions and pillows will conform to the shape of the user. This softening and flattening process is typical for all foam products and is not considered a manufacturing defect. Defects and abnormal loss of foam resiliency in pillows & cushions determined to not be caused by normal use are covered by this Limited Warranty. 


This Limited Warranty does not cover any damage due to:

  • Lack of appropriate care and maintenance
  • Misuse or improper assembly
  • Use of improper cleaning products, oils or chemicals
  • Mold or mildew
  • Vandalism, pets or rodents
  • Normal compression or flattening of cushions
  • Acts of nature (ice, flooding, wind, etc.)
  • Non-residential uses
  • Exposure to heat or flame
  • Unauthorized repairs
  • Excessive weight placed on the product
