Outdoor furniture takes a beating. Sun, rain, humidity, the occasional spilled drink, it all adds up. That's exactly why weatherproof outdoor furniture isn't just a nice-to-have; it's the only kind worth investing in. At Chicory, every piece is designed from the ground up to handle the elements without losing its comfort, structure, or good looks.
Whether it's a backyard sectional that sees full sun all afternoon or a patio sofa exposed to coastal humidity, Chicory's weatherproof patio furniture is built with the materials and engineering to last through it all, season after season.
What Makes Chicory Furniture Truly Weatherproof
Lots of outdoor furniture claims to be weather-resistant. Chicory's collections go further, combining frame materials, fabric engineering, and structural design that work together to resist the full range of outdoor conditions.
The Washable Collection: A Steel Frame That Goes the Distance
Chicory x Anabei Washable Collection is built around a patent-pending, powder-coated steel frame reinforced with stainless steel hardware, engineered to resist corrosion, rust, and wear year after year. While many outdoor furniture options start to break down after a few seasons, this frame is designed to last a lifetime.
It's also modular and designed to fit through any door, which makes setup, reconfiguring, and even storage completely straightforward.
Fabrics That Handle Whatever the Weather Brings
A weatherproof frame is only half the story. The covers on Chicory furniture are performance-grade fabrics engineered specifically for outdoor use.
The Chicory collection features performance fabrics that are liquid- and stain-resistant, maintaining a UV lightfast rating of up to 2,000 sunlight hours. They are machine washable and bleach cleanable for hassle free maintenance. Designed to handle harsh climates, resist mold and mildew growth, they are ideal in that they stay looking fresh without the need for constant upkeep. All fabric options are engineered with nontoxic, PFC/PFAS-free water-resistant technology. With abrasion resistance ranging from 50k and up to 100k rubs, they are designed to withstand daily use.
The covers are removable, and even the patent-pending frame duvet underneath can go in the wash. It's the kind of all-weather outdoor furniture that keeps up with real outdoor life, spills, pets, kids, and all.
Comfort wasn't an afterthought.
Weatherproof patio furniture often sacrifices comfort for durability. Chicory set out to solve that trade-off. Every cushion features a blend of low and high-density, high-resilience, CertiPUR-US® foams.
The seating is designed with extra wide and deep seats for genuine lounging, a feature that's noticeably absent from most weatherproof patio furniture on the market. These sofas invite people to actually settle in, not just sit.
Modular by Design, Flexible by Nature
The Chicory collection is fully modular, with each piece designed to move and reconfigure effortlessly to suit the moment. Add or remove modules as needed, with simple connectors that make rearranging seamless. Ottomans can be used to transform a loveseat into a sectional for added flexibility.
This makes Chicory's weatherproof outdoor furniture genuinely adaptable to different spaces and layouts over time, not just a fixed setup bought once and forgotten.
Built Sustainably, From the Ground Up
Sustainability at Chicory starts with thoughtful material choices and long-lasting design. The frame is crafted from durable steel, reducing reliance on wood while ensuring strength that’s built to last. Cushions feature CertiPUR-US® certified foam, and key components are made with recyclable materials to support a more circular lifecycle.
Fabrics are OEKO-TEX® certified and finished without PFAS or PFCs, offering a safer, more responsible approach to everyday performance.
