Washable Sectionals. Modules starting at $391

Chicory’s washable outdoor sectionals are designed for creating more complete outdoor living spaces, from compact patio layouts to larger backyard seating arrangements. Built from individual modular pieces, the collection can be arranged into L-shaped, U-shaped, or open seating layouts depending on the size and shape of the space.

Sectionals often serve as the main seating area outdoors because they offer room for lounging, entertaining, and gathering in one place. Within the Chicory Outdoor Collection, sectionals can be built from coordinating armchairs, armless chairs, corner units, and ottomans, making it possible to start with a smaller layout and expand over time.

The collection is available in outdoor performance fabrics, and complimentary swatches can be ordered to compare upholstery textures and colors before choosing a configuration.

Where Washable Outdoor Sectionals Work Best

Outdoor sectionals are especially useful in spaces where seating needs to accommodate more than one or two people. They can help define a patio, deck, or backyard lounge area while still allowing the layout to shift as needs change.

Common sectional layouts include:

• L-shaped sectionals for patios, corners, and everyday lounging
• U-shaped sectionals for larger gathering spaces
• Straight modular layouts for narrow decks or long outdoor areas
• Sectionals with ottomans for more flexible lounging or casual seating

For smaller spaces, a compact sectional can provide more seating than separate chairs while keeping the layout organized. For larger spaces, additional modules can be added through Chicory’s Build Your Own collection to create a fuller outdoor seating area.

Designed for Everyday Outdoor Living

Because sectionals are often the most-used furniture in an outdoor space, maintenance matters. Chicory sectionals use removable slipcovers that can be taken off for washing, while replacement slipcover sets are available for homeowners who want to refresh the look of their furniture or keep backup covers on hand.

The modular design also supports seasonal changes. A sectional can be rearranged for hosting, opened up for more circulation, or adjusted as the outdoor space changes over time. Protective covers are also available for added protection during extended periods of harsh weather or seasonal storage.

What Makes Chicory Sectionals Different

Many outdoor sectionals are sold as fixed sets, which can make them harder to adapt when a space changes. Chicory’s approach is centered on modularity, allowing homeowners to build, expand, and reconfigure their seating instead of committing to one permanent layout.

This flexibility is especially useful for outdoor spaces that serve multiple purposes, such as family lounging, dining overflow, entertaining, or poolside seating. The ability to coordinate sectionals with armchairs, ottomans, and additional modules also makes it easier to create a cohesive outdoor living area over time.

For homeowners looking for a sectional that can grow with their space, Chicory’s washable outdoor sectionals offer a practical foundation for everyday outdoor living.
