How much do you charge for shipping?

Our premium shipping & delivery is complimentary on all orders, it includes room-of-choice delivery. White glove assembly and packaging removal is available upon request!

Where can you ship?

We ship anywhere within the contiguous United States. At this time, we do not ship internationally or to Puerto Rico, Alaska & Hawaii. That said, we are happy to send orders to any reshippers upon request that are located in the contiguous United States. We are not able to ship to PO Boxes.

How can I change my address after placing an order?

If you need to change the shipping address after placing an order please notify us as soon as possible to ensure we can update your information in our system before it ships. Once your shipment is on the way, we often cannot change the address so please reach out to us immediately if an address change is necessary.

What can I do if my order is damaged upon arrival?

Please report any damages within 48 hours of delivery to facilitate an easy resolution. Just take some photos of the problem (including images of the packaging) and email them to us at support@chicoryhome.com.

Returns & Home Trial

Is there a trial period?

Take some time and see your purchase through all four seasons. If it’s not perfect, let us know within the first 365 days, and we’ll take it back.

What is your return policy?

Within the first 14 days of receiving your outdoor furniture, if you decide you’d like to return it, please reach out to us and we’ll send you return shipping labels. Return shipping is free, but because each piece is custom-made to the order, there will be an environmental fee charged that is equal to 15% of your order value prior to any discounts or special offers. Returns within this period must be made in the original packaging.

After the first 14 days, you may return your order within 365 days of receiving it. Returns made during this period are subject to a 25% environmental fee, and you’ll be responsible for return shipping and any associated costs.

Please note that we do not offer returns on throw pillows, Quick-Use Outdoor Cushion Covers, or All-Season Outdoor Protective Covers

Do I need to return it with the original packaging?

If you plan to ship back your order for any reason, we ask that you do so with the original packaging, padding materials included. Note that within the 14-day return period, original packaging is required for returns. Returns made without the original packaging may be subject to additional costs, which are to be subtracted from your refund.

How long will it take to get my refund?

Once your order arrives back at our warehouse, we’ll process your refund within 1-2 business days. After that it’s up to your bank to credit your account which usually takes around 5-7 business days. If it takes any longer than that, let us know and we're happy to check in with them on your behalf.

Do you offer a warranty?

We offer a three year warranty on our furniture against material and manufacturing defects applicable to the original owner effective from the date of delivery. Warranty does not apply to any conditions resulting from faulty installation, misuse or expected wear. We will repair or replace, at our discretion, any part of the product or the entire product if it is deemed defective. In the event that you find yourself experiencing an issue with our guarantee, please reach out to us so we can make it right. We’ll require photographs to properly evaluate the condition of the product.

Orders & Order Status

How do I cancel my order?

If you would like to cancel your order, please email us at support@chicoryhome.com within 24 hours of placing your order and we will refund you in full. Twenty-four hours after placing an order, there will be a 15% production fee deducted from your refund as we’ll have already started production. If your item has already shipped, it is no longer able to be canceled but may be returned in accordance with our return policies.

How can I exchange my order?

An exchange is handled the same way as a return. Just email us at support@chicoryhome.com within 30 days of receiving your item and let us know that you’d like to make a return. As soon as we have your item back at our warehouse, we will issue you a refund minus any applicable costs noted in our return policy. Your new order will be treated as a separate transaction and you can go ahead and place a new order on our site, or we can help you place it if needed.

Please note that we do not offer exchanges on throw pillows, Quick-Use Outdoor Cushion Covers, or All-Season Outdoor Protective Covers.

How can I track my purchase?

When your order ships, we’ll send you a shipping confirmation email with information about the carrier and estimated arrival date. If you have special delivery requests, please contact us as soon as you place the order so we can do our best to accommodate accordingly.

How long will it take to get my order?

Please reference the estimated lead time on each product page. This estimate does not include transit time which differs based on your shipping address. We ship all of our products from Northern California. Transit times differ based on the type of shipment and the destination, but it can take about 5-12 days to arrive in your local area depending on where you’re located.

Product Questions

Will the teak’s finish change over time?

Our teak’s finish is designed to face the elements. Teak’s natural properties make it well-equipped to face the elements, making it the best choice of wood for durable outdoor furniture. For ultimate long term protection, it’s recommended to bring in furniture during harsh winters, storms, etc. and to cover it when not in use. All teak finishes will shift to appear more gray in color over time but the integrity of the frame doesn’t diminish.

What is the best way to take care of your teak wood?

Wash the teak wood frame before putting on the cushions.

Regularly clean wood with water and/or teak wood cleaner until the wood has fully weathered.

Will the fabric color change over time?

Our high performance fabrics are designed for the outdoors. They have been tested for a UV lightfast rating of up to 2000 hours which is considered fade-proof in the industry. For ultimate longterm color protection, we recommend prompt spot cleaning when needed and avoiding contact with high moisture and extreme sun environments when possible. It’s always recommended to bring in furniture during harsh winters, storms, etc. and to cover it when not in use for ultimate care and long term protection.

Are the pillow and cushion covers removable?

Yes! Each pillow features a zipper for easy removal and cleaning.

How can I clean the fabric?

The composition of our quality outdoor fabric is not only inherently easily cleanable but we’ve taken it a step further to make it 100% bleach cleanable so that they can be bleached when needed without compromising the color. Every pillow and cushion cover features a zipper, making it fully removable. When spills occur, we recommend to always blot (not rub) liquids with a clean, dry cloth. For oil-based spills, apply an absorbent such as corn starch, then remove it with a straight edge. Lastly, spray on a mild cleaning soap solution mixed with water. Rinse the fabric thoroughly to remove all soap residue and air dry!

How modular is each seat?

Every armless or middle seat block is alike and can be used interchangeably in the middle of your sofa, on the end, or as a corner piece. Each slatted wood back/arm panel (they are the same part) can attach to any three sides of a seat block. Standalone ottomans purchased or the chaise ottoman on a sectional are slightly different blocks in that they can be attached to any seat block, but an arm/back panel is not capable of being attached to it. If you have any specific questions about the capabilities of each part of a configuration don’t hesitate to ask!

Is there assembly required?

Minimal assembly is required. That said, we offer white glove services which include assembly and packaging removal upon request! We send all products in the Dwell™ Outdoor Collection with a complete assembly guide in the event that you’d like to reconfigure your product in the future. It is modular after all, so we’d highly recommend you change up your layout from time to time.

Can I get swatch samples before ordering?

Yes! You can order your Free Swatch Kit and see our performance fabrics in person. These industry-leading Solution Dyed Acrylic upholsteries are designed to endure all climates. The performance dye manufacturing process permeates color through every thread promoting long-term durability against uv exposure, water damage, and everyday outdoor staining.

Are these products environmentally friendly?

Yes! Our products are Oeko-Tex® Certified, free from hazardous chemicals & treatments and safe for you and the environment. All of our wood is Certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and the foam used in every cushion and pillow upcycles hundreds of plastic bottles. For every order placed, and for every box shipped, one tree is planted by the National Forest Foundation. We’ve designed packaging materials that are non-toxic, recycled and utilize renewable foam. Every detail counts.
